Senior Speech and Language Therapist

Being able to communicate and interact with others is a fundamental aspect of our lives.

Working as a Speech and Language Therapist allows me to support children to develop their communication skills to their full potential. This also means I am able to work closely with families, carers and settings, to help them develop their confidence, skills and knowledge.

I take a pro-neurodiversity approach to my work and try to keep up to date with current research and with the voices of the neurodiverse community. I aim to be an advocate for the children and families that I support.

My favourite word is "huzzah", it's fun to say and not used enough anymore. I think we need to bring it back to express our joy.

Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.
