Hello there! My name is Larisa Vaz and I am a Speech and Language therapist at Magic Words Therapy. My journey towards becoming a speech and language pathologist started in the year 2013. Since then, I have trained and gained a vast experience in assessing and treating paediatric, adult and geriatric speech and language disorders.

I love speech and language and communication. Throughout my career, I have had the honour of supporting individuals with various needs and to help them to communicate and have a voice of their own. Watching a child communicate and achieve communication independence gives me the utmost rewarding experience as a speech and language therapist.

At Magic Words Therapy, I look forward to creating a difference in an individual’s communication skills. My goal is to support adults and children with communication needs and help their caregivers provide a nurturing learning environment around them.

My favourite word is ‘Goa’ because I have practically lived there my entire life. It makes me feel nostalgic and reminds me of my home. It is the best place to ever be! Viva Goa!
