Director of Magic Words Therapy and Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Selective Mutism

Communication is fundamental to the human race. Speech and language therapy means going on a journey together to overcome barriers and giving every person a voice to communicate their choices, their needs, emotions and views. Speech and language therapy helps each person to participate fully in society and education. It means helping parents, professionals and care givers to know how best to support their child or adult with communication difficulties. Speech and language therapy should be fun and engaging, so that the child or adult is a willing participant in the journey to good speech and communication.

My favourite word is ‘sparkly’ because it makes me think of bright twinkly things.
