Speech and Language Therapist

I have always loved working alongside children and young people and seeing them light up when they feel heard and empowered. My favourite thing about speech and language therapy is getting to know each individual child and learn what makes them tick and enabling their communication development to thrive through channeling their passions.

I've learned a lot about the impact of regulation on a child's communication skills over recent years and it's massively changed my approach to speech and language therapy for the better. I love supporting families and educators to understand speech and language development and being a part of the process for helping each child to thrive, however that looks for them. I think it must be the most fun job in the world!

My favourite word is 'discombobulated' because it's hard to say it without laughing, and I love to laugh!
